Some folks believe that because Dennis passed away before he was elected and SWORN IN to office that he was never officially a Nevada State Assemblyman. But they’re wrong.
The way the Nevada Constitution is worded, an individual running for the Legislature officially takes office the day after the election.
And now we have the official Certificate of Election from the Nevada Secretary of State’s office to prove it!
